While I certainly encourage people to have a financial plan and to manage their money wisely I thought it would be fun to save those recommendations for another day and to close the year with a little humor. Since I don’t write jokes I will share a few of my favorite lines and give credit where credit is due.
“I made my money the old fashioned way. I was very nice to a wealthy relative right before he died." – Malcolm Forbes
“Many people spend their health gaining wealth, and then have to spend their wealth to regain their health." – Jackie Mason
“It is pretty hard to tell what does bring happiness; poverty and wealth have both failed." – Kin Hubbard
"When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me." – Emo Philips
“The easiest way for your children to learn about money is for you not to have any." – Katharine Whitehorn
Financial planning and money management is serious business but a little humor never hurts.
We hope you enjoy the Christmas and New Year’s holidays and that the New Year brings you and your family happiness and prosperity.
